These are not values that change from time to time, situation to situation, or person to person, but rather they are the underpinning of our church culture. They are essential for us to reach our mission of providing real solutions for real people in Ringgold.Transparency - We believe it is important for us to be honest about ourselves, our struggles, our strengths and weaknesses. Too often Christianity is justly accused of being hypocritical about our own humanity. At Crosspointe, we want to be a fellowship that is authentic by being honest about our own difficulties. We believe the quicker we are to admit our faults, the faster we begin to break their power in our lives. (James 5:17-18)Relevant Teaching - We believe that the Bible is relevant to our lives today. Its not just a book of good sayings, it is the handbook that governs every decision we make. Consequently, Its truths should be presented in a relevant manner that intersects with our daily lives. (Hebrews 4:16)Application of Truth - Our Pastor says, “Knowledge without application leads to frustration.” That’s why our life groups are centered around applying the truth presented on Sunday morning. If a truth is not applied to life situations, it doesn’t do any good. That's why it's important for us to stress application any time a truth is presented. We do this through our T-4 Small Groups.
