We are real people

We are a group of real people who have found the real solution to our broken lives through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have made a community of believers who love each other and the God we serve. We love our community and want to see it grow Gods kingdom one family at a time. No matter what your family looks like your welcome here.

Our mission is to provide real solutions for real people. We strive to build our community one family at a time by passing on the faith that is passed to us, while praying for the lost and baptizing the found!

what we believe

We believe the most important thing in this life is our relationship with Christ. Becoming a follower of Christ puts the rest of our life and every circumstance in perspective and gives life purpose and meaning. By confessing our sin to God, putting our trust in Jesus and what His death and resurrection made possible for us; and by surrendering our life to God's purposes, we can begin a personal relationship with Jesus. We believe that when we begin that relationship, the Spirit of God enters our being - we call Him the Holy Spirit - and that Spirit not only becomes our guide, but He continues the process that began at our point of surrender - moving us from a life of sin to a life where we resemble the person of Jesus Christ.

leadership & Direction

Crosspointe is a fellowship of baptized believers who are led by an affirmed board of Elders. We trust in these men to make a majority of the decisions.

This allows us to be focused and efficient in our mission of evangelism.

Dr. Ron Tankersly has been in ministry for over 50 years, having served in many different capacities. He is known for his passionate attention to the word of God and its proclamation. He lives in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia with his wife, Brenda Tankersley.

Wes Gaier and his wife Melissa have been attending Crosspointe for 17 years. The have 3 children; Jonathon, Zachary, and Kinsey. They live in Ringgold, Georgia.

Clint Wilson and his wife Jennifer have been attending Crosspointe for 14 years. They have two children, Eliana and Micah, and they live in East Ridge, Tennessee.

Our worship experience consists of mainly contemporary Christian songs with powerful meaning. We strive to create an environment of worship, thanksgiving, and reverence to God!

Our main focus is to freely worship the Lord in a contemporary setting.

Crosspointe was founded on the idea that Ringgold needed a different type of church, for real and broken people.

The church was born in the hearts of 5 men, including the founding pastor, Dr. Ron Tankersley. These men soon became the founding elders at the first Sunday evening Bible Study on June 15, 2003 at the Comfort Inn and Conference Center in East Ridge, Tn. That night over 100 people were in attendance.

On July 13th of that same year, we moved into Gateway Mall on Cloud Springs Road in Ringgold, Ga. That day 140 people became Charter Members.

In August of 2010, Crosspointe moved into a brand new building on Alabama Highway in Ringgold. This facility was designed specifically to create engaging environments for all ages.
